Girl Talk Women’s and Teen Girls’ Conference 2017
‘Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come.’
Saturday 1st July
Histon Baptist Church
10am-5pm (registration from 9.30am)
Every day we come across voices that promise to change our world for the better. From politicians to economists, AI inventors to advertisers of hair shampoo! They all claim they can change our lives.
Jesus did come into this world to change lives. We see that over and over again throughout the gospels; a tax collector who became a generous man, a Jesus-hater who became a church planter, a man born blind who could now see. Jesus’ voice has continued to speak loud and clear down the centuries. There are now over 2 billion Christians in the world who have had their lives changed by encountering Jesus.
At Girl Talk 2017, we are going to explore, through worship, inspiring messages, life stories and prayer, how Jesus truly is the ‘life-changer’! Come and join us for this annual spiritual spa day and be refreshed.
This year our speakers include Nancy Goudie (ngm.org.uk), Helen Watts (Birmingham), Elaine Diamand (Cambridge) and youth worker, Susie Thomson.
More information about our speakers – and their seminars – can be found out here.
The cost of the day is £30 adults / £15.00 13-18 yrs
